Stacey Delo, Founder & President In 2001, Stacey founded DiscussionDIVAS as an outlet for women to discuss current events and happenings in a social setting. Groups met in San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and New York for dinner, wine and conversation. In 2006 she took the concept online through the WeeklyDIVA email. Today she’s editor of the WeeklyDIVA and also a working journalist in San Francisco. Stacey has a B.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University, where she helped overturn a landmark wrongful conviction case as part of a class project. She holds a Masters in Journalism and Public Affairs from American University. When she’s not writing about the news, she’s talking about it, usually over wine, or chips and salsa. Basically, she’s a certified news junkie.
Carrice Delo, Co-Founder & User Experience Lead After graduating summa cum laude from the Carnegie Mellon School of Design in 1999, Carrice worked five and a half years for a privately held software firm, Trilogy, Inc., in Austin, Texas. She’s created the DIVAS look and feel and is final reviewer for all content and design. Carrice is a user-interface design specialist with a interactive consulting agency in San Francisco.
Ryan Kennedy, Technical Director Ryan earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Cornell University in 1999. Since then, he has worked on numerous large scale consumer-facing websites and enterprise software deployments for Fortune 500 clients. He has experience working with large cross-functional and multi-national development teams as both a software engineer and a technical delivery manager. He specializes in user-interface technologies and implementation.
